Carole & Tuesday Will Premier on Netflix
At Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Fuji TV announced information about the anime series “Carole & Tuesday”. Original anime produced by Bones Studio will be aired on Netflix starting globally on August 30. Of the total 2 cour, but only 1 will be further informed.
It’s been fifty years since humans migrated to Mars. This is an age where almost everything is produced by AI, and everyone becomes a passive consumer.
There is a girl named Carole who lives in the city of Alba, she lives alone and earns a living working part time. Carole aspires to be a musician and every day she always feels something is missing in her, but who knows what.
Another girl named Tuesday who is a well-established family from Herschel City, her dream is to become a musician. Unfortunately at his residence no one understands what Tuesday wants. He also thinks staying there feels like the most lonely person in the world. Carole is a person who lives by working part time, while Tuesday is a rich family.
One time Carole and Tuesday met, they had the same ideals, namely to become musicians. They want to sing, want to make music together. They feel there is an opportunity. Even though it was only a piece, they were sure that one day it would become big.

The opening and closing songs were delivered by Nai Br. XX and Celeina Ann with the titles “Kiss Me” and “Hold Me Now“. This original anime was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe (Kids on the Slope) and produced by studio BONES. Watanabe will be assisted by Motonobu Hori (Beck). This is scheduled to be aired on April 10 on the Ultra + Fuji TV programming block. This anime will also be aired on Netflix Japan at the same time. Netflix also has the right to broadcast it outside Japan, but on the official website it has not been announced when it will air. While this anime will run for 2 cour (24 episodes). This series is also a celebration of 20 years from the BONES study and 10 years of Flying Dog.
The adaptation of the manga was also announced last April. This manga began to be distributed in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine on May 2 and was made by Morito Yamataka (Kenki, Saku).
